Nature Camp

sentieri The Nature Camp is a 2010 project born with the aim to get kids into outdoor sports, offering them the opportunity to play different sport activities beside the center. Specialized instructors will guide participants to the discovery of the territory, starting from the lake up to to our wonderful mountains, and they will try to sensitize new generations to respect for nature, and to be aware of how important is playing sport, socialize and share life experiences with their mates.

sentiero_viandante The Camp is 5 days long (from Monday to Friday) and it is addressed to groups of about 10 children from 9 to 13.
Activities will be planned as follows: in the morning participants will be taught about windsurf techniques with two VDWS teachers, while in the afternoon they will be involved in trekking activities, sailing rides, canoe and they will learn basics notions of climbing too, under the supervision of guides and professional skippers.
Moreover, children will be 24 hours a day under the care of two educators that will always be close to them during their stay beside the Center.

prato The Nature Camp is addressed both to beginners and to children whit previous experiences in these sports and activities. At the end of the period participants will be able to play windsurf autonomously, as they will be given the international VDWS license. This is one of the Nature Camp goals, as well as giving children the opportunity to try different sport activities and discover their favourite ones.

PROGRAM

1st DAY: 9.00 A.M.: Meeting beside the Fun Surf Center, beginning of windsurf course (theoretical part); 12.30 P.M.: Lunch beside the Ristorante Pizzeria "Le Vele"; 2.00 P.M.: Canoe trip (only with good weather and lake conditions), or alternatively activities ashore (beach volley, etc.); 7.30 P.M.: Dinner beside local restaurants; Overnight stay beside the neighbouring camping "Al Rustic"

2nd DAY: 9.30 A.M.: Second windsurf lesson; 12.30 P.M.: Packed lunch; 2.00 P.M.: Trekking with a C.A.I. (Italian Alpine Club) guide on our mountains’ trails; 7.30 P.M.: Dinner and overnight stay

3rd DAY: 9.30 A.M.: Windsurf theoretical lesson, preparing for the final test to get the VDWS license + third windsurf lesson; 12.30 P.M.: Lunch beside the Ristorante Pizzeria "Le Vele"; 2.00 P.M.: Sailing ride with a professional skipper; 7.30 P.M.: Dinner and overnight stay

4th DAY: 9.30 A.M.: Windsurf practical lesson (assembling and preparing windsurf equipment), preparing for the final examination to get the VDWS license + fourth windsurf lesson; 12.30 P.M.: Packed lunch; 2.00 P.M.: Climbing lesson with professional guide; 7.30 P.M.: Dinner and overnight stay

5th DAY: 9.30 A.M.: Last windsurf lesson; 12.30 P.M.: Lunch beside the Restaurant Pizzeria "Le Vele"; 2.00 P.M.: Final test to get the VDWS license; 5.00 P.M.: Meeting with parents, then we’ll plant a tree as a remembrance of the Camp experience

GROUPS AND PERIOD

Groups of about 10 children from 9 to 13.
The first Camp will take place from 21.06.2010 to 25.06.2010, the second one starting 12.07.2010 to 16.07.2010.

COSTS AND SERVICES

The cost for the whole Camp is 570 Euros (20% VAT included), and it includes: windsurf course with two VDWS teachers, water assistance with dinghy and final test to get the international VDWS license, one guide which will take care of children during trekking, sailing ride with a professional skipper, climbing lesson with a C.A.I. guide, all windsurf equipment (wet suits, lifejackets, boards and sails) and the equipment for the climbing lesson.

Price includes also breakfast, lunch, dinner beside local restaurants and overnight stay in bungalows beside the camping "Al Rustic". Ashore assistance 24 hour a day provided by two educators. Personal Insurance for all the Camp period.

REQUIRED CLOTHES

Common beachwear, watwerproof jacket or k-way, sneakers, tracksuit, sweatshirt, sleeping bag, pillow, rucksack.

REQUIRED REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

Registration form correctly filled in, doctor’s note to certify good health, a copy of the deposit bank transfer.

PAYMENT AND REFUND IN CASE OF CANCELLATION

The 200 Euros deposit can be payed within 40 days before the beginning of the Camp by bank transfer addressed to:

Please write your name, lastname and fill in the box for the paying reason as "iscrizione nature camp".

The difference can be payed within 10 days before the beginning of the Camp, by bank transfer as stated before.
In case of cancellation after having payed down yet, you will be refund of 50% of the amount payed.

In case of cancellation after having payed the difference yet, (for the June session of the Camp and providing places availability), the participant will be included in the group attending the following course in July. However, if no places are availale for the July Camp, you will be refund of 60% of the whole amount.
